Providing Soccer Opportunities to Children of All Skill Levels in the Northwest Metro Area.

NO PETS ARE ALLOWED ON SCHOOL FIELDS

This is a friendly reminder that NO PETS are allowed on the soccer fields. This is a school district policy that we agree to enforce for the schools in exchange for them allowing us to use their grounds. Please leave the pets at home during soccer practices and games.

BERTRAM CHAIN OF LAKES REGIONAL PARK

The plans for the Bertram Chain of Lakes Park includes plans for an athletic complex which will include soccer fields. We would like as many of the MSC soccer families as possible to support the Bertram Chain of Lakes Regional Park. Having a soccer complex in Monticello would be a great addition to our soccer program. Yopu may receive emails from time to time asking you to support the project, we would appreciate any effort you can give to support this great addition to the soccer program.

Thank you

MSC board members

Open Board Positions

We currently have a couple Board positions open that we are looking to fill, all of these positions receive 1 full soccer fee paid per calendar year for their time and contribution to the Club. (REC or Travel fee)  Each position is a full voting member of the Monticello Soccer Club Board.

The positions we have open are:

  • Field Director - this position handles the scheduling and setup of our soccer fields.
  • Marketing and Communication Director - this position goes out and finds sponsors for the club and handles external communications to promote the club.

If you are interested in any of these positions or want more information please contact Tony Rowan at trowan@charter.net or 763-226-9041 - or any other Board member listed on the "Board" tab on this website.

Looking For Volunteers.

The Monticello Soccer Club is an all-volunteer organization that relies upon its parents and player members to succeed.  As an incentive to volunteer, the club offers a $40 refund to each travel player who volunteers (or parent volunteers) up to 4 hours of time.  (U11 and older summer teams only )  Volunteer jobs can be weed-whipping around goals, helping clean out the soccer shed, or acting as a field marshall when the club hosts the U12 and U16 girls district tournaments.  There are always club activities that need attending, so please contact a board member if you are interested.  You can also see the Volunteering page on this website.
